Music Temple
   Music Temple is located on the east shore of the river about two miles downstream from the mouth of the San Juan River. Thanks in part to John Wesley Powell’s first description, it became one of the best-loved and most-mourned places on the river. The Powell expedition camped here for two nights in 1869.
